Common questions
My alarm didn't go off
- Open ShootMate's Alarms tab and allow alarms if it asks.
- Make sure Focus or Do Not Disturb isn't silencing ShootMate's reminders.
- Check the alarm is on and set for the right days in Alarms.
Until it's sorted, keep a backup alarm for anything that matters.
The widgets are empty
Open ShootMate once after adding a widget so it can fill it in. The weather widget fills in once you've opened the weather in ShootMate. Widgets need iOS 26.
It didn't read my licence card
Use Scan the card with the camera in the licence editor, with the card flat and in good light, or attach the PDF. Anything it can't read you can type in. Card reading happens on your phone; nothing is uploaded.
Which map files can I import?
Georeferenced PDFs (GeoPDF), GeoTIFF images (.tif) and GPX files. Maps work offline once they're downloaded or imported.
How do I delete my data?
In the app, go to Me › Privacy & data › Delete all my data, or delete the app. ShootMate has no accounts, so nothing about you is stored with us.
How do I get a copy of my data or correct it?
Everything is on your phone, and you can see and change it in the app. Questions: getswingmateapp@gmail.com.
Is it free?
Yes. ShootMate is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.
