What it does
- Trips: a calendar of your trips with countdowns, plus closures and seasons you add.
- Alarms: early wake-ups that follow your trips.
- Swell and tides: swell, sea temperature and modelled tides for your spot.
- Wind and weather: the forecast for your trip, a link to official BOM warnings, and shark activity links for your area.
- Surf and catch log: breaks, waves, boards, species, size, place and photos.
- Licences: fishing and boating licences with renewal reminders.
- Offline maps: download areas, import GeoPDF, GeoTIFF and GPX, save breaks and spots, and see bushfire hotspots.
- Sun and moon: first and last light, moon phase and feeding times.
- Pack lists and trip costs: what to bring and what it costs.
Forecasts and tides in SwellMate are computer models. Always check official Bureau of Meteorology forecasts, warnings and tide times, and your state's fishing rules (licences, bag and size limits, closures and marine parks) before every trip.
